These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sentry Eagle (also marketed as "SafeGuard") mobile application, website and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Sentry Eagle ("Sentry Eagle", "we", "our" or "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a subscription or make any payment. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The Service
Sentry Eagle is a personal-safety application that provides features such as emergency SOS alerts, live location sharing with contacts you choose, trip tracking, secure messaging and calls, and an optional AI safety companion ("SentryEagle AI").
Not an emergency service. Sentry Eagle is a supplementary safety aid and does not replace the police, ambulance, fire service or any official emergency service. Do not rely on it as your sole means of obtaining help. In a life-threatening situation, always contact your local emergency number first (in Nigeria, dial 112 or 767). Delivery of alerts depends on factors outside our control, including your device, battery, network coverage and third-party providers.
3. Accounts
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must obtain the consent of any person you add as an emergency contact or whose location you track through the Service.
4. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
4.1 Free and paid features
Core safety features (SOS, live location, emergency-contact alerts, chat and calls) are free. Advanced AI features require a paid subscription, "Sentry Eagle AI Premium".
4.2 Pricing
Current prices (in Nigerian Naira, ₦), as shown on our Pricing page:
• Monthly: ₦1,500 per month
• Annual: ₦12,000 per year
• Lifetime: ₦35,000, one-time
4.3 7-day free trial
New members are eligible for a 7-day free trial of AI Premium. One trial is available per account. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins and the first payment is taken. You can cancel during the trial at any time at no cost.
4.4 Auto-renewal
Monthly and Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, using your chosen payment method, until you cancel. The Lifetime plan is a single, non-recurring payment. You authorise us and our payment processors to charge the applicable fees for each renewal.
4.5 Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Legal & Compliance → Manage Subscription, or by emailing team@sentryeagle.website. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4.6 Payments
Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers, Flutterwave and Paystack. By subscribing you also agree to the applicable provider's terms. We do not collect or store your full card or bank details; these are handled by the payment provider under their PCI-DSS-compliant systems. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
• track, monitor or send alerts about any person without their knowledge and consent;
• send false emergency alerts or misuse the SOS features;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, content and trademarks ("Sentry Eagle", "SafeGuard"), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial safety needs. Content you create (such as messages and recordings) remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (for example, to deliver an SOS to your contacts).
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Flutterwave and Paystack (payments), Supabase (secure cloud infrastructure), mapping, messaging and AI providers. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will always be delivered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentry Eagle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service in place of official emergency services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes to subscription pricing will be notified to you in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
